Excited!

I've been cleaning all evening. Hoping I can get things ready to decorate the house for Christmas real soon!  Changed the living room around yesterday with the help of my 2 year old grandaughter. lol   I was pushing furniture and she had her hands on my backside, pushing me, saying "I help you memaw"!  I know Christmas is going to be so great this year because she is a little older and  can get excited about  everything!
I spent last weekend alone at the farm in Ohio and surprisingly, I really enjoyed it!  I did some shopping, just worked on the house and finally got to make some signs using my new stencils! I've had them for a few weeks and all of my things to work with were in Ohio. Oh yeah, I went to a historic area in Parkersburg and took pictures of some of the old houses there.  I love looking at old houses, cabins, victorians, farms, whatever!  So here are some of thoses as well as some of my new signs!  Let me know what you think!

  1. Leisha, your pictures are wonderful, both the old homes (all I can say is WOW!) and your signs! I especially love the last one because it IS the most wonderful time of the year isn't it? Have a joyous holiday season with your granddaughter, young children do make this time of year extra special. Somehow we can again see the wonder through their eyes and I think that is their very special gift to us. Thanks for becoming a follower of my blog and I'm now following you as well. Merry Christmas! 2. Hello Leisha, your pictures of the wonderful old homes are beautiful. Thanks for sharing them.

Grandmothers have the most fun playing with their grandchildren. Tea parties and playing with dolls is the best! We have six, ages 7 up to 15. The boys are great too! But no tea parties for them---Hee! Hee!

Your signs are delightful. They would make anyone smile!

Happy New Year and I will visit you again soon!

  3. Your granddaughter sounds so adorable! I'm sure Christmas was a blast with her this year.

The homes are gorgeous! I love to visit but I sure wouldn't want to live in and clean those monsters.

Great job on the signs! I especially like the one that says Merry and Bright-- love the font on it!
